Elements of the Terramesh® system are made of double twisted wirw mesh where the back panel (tail) and the borders of the front gabion-shaped part are connected in the production process. Like with gabions, the front part is filled with stones that provides the necessary strength and drainage of the structure. Differently fro Green Terramesh®, in this case, the elements do not allow the vegetation to develop, except in the cases when on the front side of the gabion part of the structure, a vegitation pocket is installed.
System Terramesh® has similar characteristics like Green Terramesh®, but in this case we can add drainage abilities of the elements that create positive hydraulic conditions by decreasing hydraulic pressure.

Specific shape of the front part allows the use of the system in reinforcing extremely steep or vertical slopes, and also when treating a terrain with running water, that is, in river and channel training (where it is needed to protect the front part from erosion) and when the climate is too dry and the development of vegetation is difficult.

Elements are placed horizontally one over the other after filling and compacting soil into them.

Structure of the system element:

• one-piece panel made of double twisted wire mesh, whose front part is fortified with steal wire of a bigger diameter coated with polyethylene;
• geosintetic and biodegradable mat for erosion protection;
• welded bars in the front part of the element that holds the mat and acts as a modul;
• steal bars hold the front part at a certain angle.

• it enables a fast and efficiant development of vegetation because of the top soil element which is in the front part of the element;
• enables the reinforcement of the whole structure;
• it is rational also from the financial point of view because of the modular system that  enables fast and easy installation.
